As the warm breeze of March brings new vitality, the spirit of Lei Feng continues to inspire generations. On the occasion of March 5th — China’s Learn from Lei Feng Day — Sinooutput organized a themed Party Day activity titled “Learn from Lei Feng, Practice Our Original Aspiration, and Serve the People.” Guided by Party building principles, our company integrated volunteer service with practical action, demonstrating the profound meaning of Lei Feng’s spirit in the new era.
Lei Feng (1940–1962) was a young soldier in the People’s Liberation Army of China who became a national symbol of selflessness, dedication, and wholehearted service to the people. Although his life was short, his diary and deeds reflected a spirit of unwavering commitment to helping others, performing small acts of kindness, and dedicating himself to collective goals without seeking recognition.
In 1963, a nationwide campaign was launched encouraging citizens to “Learn from Comrade Lei Feng.” Since then, his spirit — characterized by dedication, friendship, mutual assistance, and progress — has become an enduring moral benchmark in Chinese society. March 5th is officially commemorated each year as Learn from Lei Feng Day.
During the event, all Party members of Sinooutput gathered to study Lei Feng’s exemplary stories and revisit the Party oath. Through collective learning and reflection, participants deepened their understanding of the volunteer spirit and the responsibility carried by every Party member.
Everyone expressed their commitment to integrating Lei Feng’s spirit into daily work — embodying the “screw spirit” (doing ordinary tasks with extraordinary dedication) and serving clients, partners, and society with sincerity and professionalism.
Learning was followed by action. Wearing red volunteer vests, Sinooutput’s Party members actively engaged in community service activities:
Cleaning public areas and removing unauthorized advertisements to improve the environment
Visiting elderly residents living alone and families in need, assisting with cleaning and safety checks
Listening to community concerns and offering practical help
Promoting public policies and guiding citizens toward civilized behavior
Each act of service reflected our belief that responsibility begins with small, concrete actions.
A touch of “volunteer red” represents a wholehearted commitment to serving the people. Through this activity, Sinooutput’s Party members received a renewed spiritual inspiration and further strengthened their sense of purpose and先锋模范 (pioneering and exemplary) role.
Moving forward, Sinooutput will continue to normalize Lei Feng–themed activities, transforming the spirit of dedication into strong motivation for entrepreneurship, innovation, and service. We believe that by staying true to our original mission and taking solid, responsible action, we can contribute not only to the maritime industry but also to the broader community.
